07.11.2005DevZeroG PrintSure Ghent PDF Workgroup compliant.
We are pleased to announce that PrintSure is compliant with all Ghent PDF Workgroup current specifications (version 2/2004), which are based on PDF/X.
Compliancy was achieved in record time by close collaboration between DevZeroG and the Ghent PDF Workgroup, and as a result, the verification process benefited by gaining several improvements and refinements. During the testing and verification process several enhancements were also made to PrintSure, further extending its unique set of features.
Current distinctions include ability to measure average ink coverage of whole areas of images, rather then individual pixels - greatly reducing manual intervention, and dynamic page size verification, providing a simpler process of managing profiles.
The latest version of PrintSure now contains the latest certified profiles and is distinctive in being the only solution able to pre-flight check PDF files on-line, from within a web browser, without the need for the user to install or configure anything, as well as having unlimited desktop clients.
PrintSure is a uniquely powerful, yet simple workflow system for artwork submission, delivering client-side pre-flight checking - both desktop and webbased. It is already in use with some of the largest printing organizations in the world and this announcement underlines why PrintSure is quickly becoming the industry's leading solution.
